What is Solisomnia?

Solisomnia is described as a sleeping disorder relative to hypersomnia that causes the afflicted to experience long periods of involuntary unconsciousness. Though this would normally be considered simply a coma, solisomnia patients are often asleep for a specific period of time (relating to the number six) and all describe similar dreams.
Victims often report symptoms relating to radiation poisoning for a few weeks to two months after waking up. It is unknown what causes this or why it happens.
